Lots of pics

Somehow, it has been a week and a half since I have had a chance to download pictures and update this. I can't even remember what all we have done! Last Saturday, we went to swim at our neighbors new pool. All of the kiddos had a blast! You can see below that Matt had fun too....he had all of the kids on him. They were "crabs" and pinching him. My neighbor sent us this picture and it's hysterical! This picture of Cade is of him in our bed after he got out of the pool. This boy SURE loves to sleep in our bed! So much so that he comes downstairs almost every night. We have tried everything to keep him up, but it's a battle. He is quick to tell everyone too how mad his Daddy gets at him for not staying in his bed. He's lucky that he's cute.

Also, last weekend, Carson rode his bike all the way to the donut store and back! It's at least three miles. I couldn't believe it! Matt was going to put both boys in the double stroller, but Carson wasn't having that because Cannon now rides in the stroller with Cade. Anyway, I told him to go ahead and let him try to ride and call me if they needed a ride. Sure enough, he made it all the way back. Oh, and this is what he wore....insisted on this black shirt. I'm surpised he didn't have a heat stroke.
Here is a picture of Matt and Cannon. I can't even remember where we were headed to here, but it's a cute one! I know, everyone can tell me how much he looks like his Daddy here!We had our first official sleep over here! Our friend Ryan spent the night last Sunday and the boys loved it. Doug and Trish had to go out of town for the day, so he stayed and played with us. He is so stinkin' good, it is insane. I took my three boys, plus Ryan, plus Avery to Picasso's place on Monday. Loading and unloading five kids was crazy. I just kept thinking, "who am I?". Six years ago, nobody would have guessed that I would be hauling around 5 kids in a Suburban.Cannon is now enjoying some new things. We pulled the exersaucer out of the attic for him and he loves the bumper Jumper. Check out his expression on his face here. He LOVES Carson and thinks that he is the funniest thing ever!
He still LOVES his swing too. Everyone gets a big kick out of me traveling with my full size swing, but hey, it works and keeps both of us happy and hands free to keep up with the older rascals. So, if we come to your house, don't be surprised if I arrive with this thing! He is rolling from his tummy to his back all of the time. He loves to do it in his crib and then holler for us to come flip him back over. He can't go from his back to his tummy....those thighs have got to be heavy and then he has to get over that belly. ;-)He can kind of sit up by himself already. He can do it for about 5 seconds without falling over. Here is a picture that Carson took of him sitting. He missed my head, but whatever, he's 4.
Here is a pic of the boys playing with the cars from the movie Cars outside yesterday morning. These are the root of all evil and start of most fights around here. Cade has his favorite car, which is McQueen with cactus all over it. He calls it the "Dirty Queen" and it goes everywhere with him, and he loses it constantly. If I had a dime for everytime that I was asked, "Where is my Dirty Queen?" in a day, I'd be loaded! It's just wrong.
Carson claims to be Batman in this picture. Enough said there.
The boys were beyond thrilled when the Browns came over to play on the waterslide with them yesterday! Justin and Andrew are very close in age to Carson and Cade and they play really well together....Carson and Cade even put their bickering aside for a little while. Look at all of these boys! Then, they got bored after a while and played on all of the ride on toys. Cade, as usual, was content to let somebody else do the driving. Justin was happy to take him!Our adorable friend Ellie came to play today. The boys have talked about her nonstop since they left. She didn't miss a beat and jumped right in there with those crazy two boys. She is a hoot and has a firey red head personality!I have lots of other stories and pics from the week, but two of my three are up and about now. Cannon doesn't feel too great and our downstairs a/c just went out...the guy needed a part and will be back tomorrow between 12 & 2. FUN.

Cannon is 4 mos and Grammy moved!

Matt was out of town, so the boys and I headed up to Grammy & Poppy's new house...her birthday was on Saturday. They had a great time checking everything out. Grammy bought them a new slip n slide, but I didn't think to pack their swimsuits, so they just played in their skivvys, which they thought was super cool. They got big kicks out of the deer that came up into the yard, but I don't know if they will be back anytime soon. They peed all over the place, and don't deer avoid human pee? Anyway, it was fun while it lasted!
Here is a picture of Carson taking a break to give Cannon a kiss.

The upstairs wasn't put together yet, so we all slept downstairs. Carson had agreed to sleep on the couch, but of course changed his mind at 1:30am. I was stuck sleeping sandwiched between Cade and Carson with Cannon in the pack n play in the same room. Cannon started fussing at 5:45 am (which he normally sleeps until 8 am or so...), so guess who else got up? We were all up for the day by 6:30. FUN.
Apparently, the previous owners were quite the rednecks, but they did build this super cool treehouse that the boys love. It's totally unsafe and freaks me out, but they of course think that it's great! Carson spilled some of his drink on his shirt and pulled it off, in case you are wondering why he is "shirts off".

We left Grammy's earlier than expected because the boys were SUPER tired on Sunday after getting up at the crack of town. Needless to say, we had to pull the water slide out when we got home for some entertainment to get through the long afternoon. The boys are total crazy kids on this thing. Carson did actually fly off of the side the other day, finally. I was waiting for that happen. Luckily, he didn't really hurt himself. It slowed him down for about two minutes and then he was flipping on it.

I love this next picture. I had given them each a popsicle and then looked outside and saw them laying on the lounger. This it what summer is supposed to be about! I wish that it had been me laying on the lounger.....those were the days.
Here is Cade with his silly cheese smile. He's such a stinker.

Carson doing what he does best...making me nervous. He's constantly saying, "Hey! Watch this!" and then follows it up with, "What did you think? Did that freak you out?". He is also obsessed with doing everything EXACTLY like his Daddy right now. (Yeah, you can feel sorry for me! ;-) He wants to dress like him, eat like him, sleep like him...you name it. I had to go off in search of boxer shorts in his size this morning because that is what Daddy wears. It's pretty cute, actually!!

Here is just a random picture of all three of them.

And another of Cade looking like a cutie. He's getting quite sassy these days (I guess maybe he always has been...). He starts most sentences with , "Mommy, I told you.....".
Cannon turned 4 mos old on Monday and he's just the cutest! He had his checkup and 4 shots. He weighed in at 16lbs, 11oz and was 25" long. He's in the 80th percentile for weight and 50th for height. Oops. Told y'all he was a chunk! Dr. Wilber was laughing and said, "That boy has no neck to speak of!". I said, "Nope, but he's got a lot of chins!".
Seriously, he is just the cutest, sweetest little guy! He has rolled over a couple of times, but only his crib. I've yet to see him actually do it. It can't be easy to swing that thigh over to get the roll going!
We also gave Cannon his first taste of cereal this am. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it! The boys thought that it was a riot.

I wanted to get Cannon's picture done in this outfit. I love it! Carson wore it for his 1st Easter. Anyway, I was thinking of that today and thought that I had better to try it to be sure that it fits before I do that. I couldn't get it around his thighs. Seriously. Stretchy stuff only for this kid! Oh well, I just took a picture of the top half and it will have to do.
And finally! Cannon playing on the floor while the big boys are napping. He hardly ever gets any floor time because, well, it's just not safe for him there! Somebody is always throwing something, jumping around him, pulling him around or rolling him over and claiming that he did it himself.
That was a TON of pictures for less than a week's time. We have obviously been having a good time!

Fun Friday!

Matt took off this morning for a three day golf tournament (I believe that means that there is a girls' weekend in my future....). The boys and I had a fun summer morning!

When we were cleaning out the pantry and going through things, we came across the ice cream maker. Carson has been on me all week to make ice cream, so we did it! It's strawberry, and it's good!!

And the best part.....EATING it!

Then, I braved the neighborhood pool with all three of them, alone, for the first time. They were really good. Cannon did great too, and that was his first time in the pool. It did take us forever to get everyone dressed and in sunblock, and then dried off and undressed. I'm pooped! You can't tell from this picture, but they really were excited. Also, there are no pix of Cannon in the pool for the first time because I didn't have a free hand. It took both of mine to keep up with all of them.

And here is the cutie patootie getting dry!
I have no idea why this picture is uploading sideways. It wasn't taken like that nor is it turned that way on my computer? If anyone knows how to fix that, let me know!

And here is another one of Cannon, wearing one of Ridge's onsies....SO CUTE!

July 4th and others

We hope that everyone had an exciting July 4th! Ours was actually quite uneventful. We had an open house on Saturday, so we spent all of our 4th getting ready for that. HOPEFULLY somebody will buy this house and it will have paid off! We had hoped to go down and see some friends in Tiki, but just ran out of time.
Matt did manage to find the time to set up a white trash waterslide for the boys. That kept them entertained for about 30 minutes. We couldn't put up the big one because it soaks the yard....you know, have to keep it perfect in case these "imaginary" buyers want to come look at our house!

Carson decided that packing Cade in the box was way more fun than actually playing outside. Cade was none too thrilled with this! In fact, Cade has been less than thrilled with most things lately. I was so excited that he was getting over the terrible twos and was actually quite reasonable to be around! Then, I was reminded how whiney three year olds can be. His favorite line this week is, "Mommy, I CAN'T feel good!". He believes that this will buy him a ticket downstairs at bedtime. Not so much!

You can see in this picture that Cannon has become quite the drooler! He has mastered blowing rasberries and produces bucket loads of drool in the process. He either wears a bib all day, or has multiple outfit changes. Luckily, he had a couple of July 4th outfits to model for us!

Grammy and Poppy took a mini break from packing to come by. You'll also notice Carson's bear, Dexter in the picture. Carson has taken up dressing him daily, in outfits that coordinate with his own. He also must have pajamas at night. This would be fine, but Dexter is now adding the laundry of one more child around here. NOT GOOD.

We had some friends over Saturday evening for some much needed "adult cocktail" time for us and fun for the kids as well. Here are a couple pictures of them having fun.

We also put all three boys in the bathtub (Carson, Cade & Ryan)together for some BIG fun!

Isn't this picture of Cannon the cutest? No good story here, I just like it.

And I love this one of Carson and Cannon.
Lastly, from looking at this final picture of these three angels, you would never guess that they are capable of such things that they did this past week. I had a friend from work stop by with a file, who has never met them or seen our house. I was talking to her out front, looked up and saw both Carson and Cade with their pants down, peeing. And we wonder why our house won't sell? Also, they managed a tri-fecta poop at Flip N Out. Matt got to stay here and tend to the open house while I took all three boys to jump and burn off some energy. Cannon blew out his diaper, just about the time that Carson and Cade both declared the need to poop. How fun is that? Changing and holding a baby while wiping the bottoms of the other two?

However, this picture of them from this am, before I took them swimming at Paw-paw and Nana's makes it all worth it! They are sweet....on occasion.

PS - I just previewed this and the formatting is all jacked up. I'm the girl that can't operate in WORD, so how I ever thought that this would be easy is beyond me. I've spent over an hour on this and I'm not going to fix it. You'll get the drift! ;-)
