Even more exciting, we got snow! This of course happened on the one night of the year that I traveled for work!! I missed it, but I had a great evening with Jennifer in Sofie in Austin. Matt was home sick that day (YES, he was the originator of the stomach bug from hell) and then the snow hit that afternoon. Here are some pictures that Matt took of the boys in the big snow storm! Okay, so it was only a couple of inches, but that is HUGE for us!

He didn't bother to wipe the pizza off of their faces.
Or put on shoes, apparently! Flip flops in snow?? Again, reminder, I was in Austin.
Carson and Nilza in the snow. Matt got Nilza to spend the night and help him when I was in Austin. He said that he really felt awful!
Eagle Heights also had their big Christmas program last week. Carson was asked to be a shepherd and took his role very seriously. Cade's class was to sing a few carols.Carson looking handsome before putting on his shepherd costume.
Cade and I and one of just Cade before the show. BTW, I just LOVE this sweater outfit from Janie and Jack! Carson wore it to his first Lunch with Santa at the Junior League.
Carson dressed as a shepherd and on stage.
Cade having a meltdown. Yes, he was the only kid in all of Pre-K3 up there crying for his Mommy! I had to go get him. He freaked! We went out to dinner afterwards and everyone recognized him. He got quite a fanfare on the way in to school the next day too. He's a star, for sure, that one!
Well, say a little prayer that Carson and I are spared from the stomach bug and that our sanity stays somewhat in check over the next week. We have to be out of the house by the end of next weekend. We have a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time, not to mention, getting ready for Christmas, which we are totally unprepared for!! Should be a hectic two weeks to come!!
We started off by going to Dr. Wilber's office for a checkup (no shots...I asked before I made that appt on his actualy bday). He is still my tall and skinny guy and he's just perfect!
We had lunch out and then came home for Cade to take a nap. I didn't even have Carson "pretend" to take a nap and just played outside with him all afternoon and we had a blast.
Cannon hung out in one of our many ride on toys and had fun too.
When Daddy got home, he got even more presents from us and his brothers. He had called us out for not giving him one at his birthday party! Stinker. Here is the birthday boy with his two best pals...
And his sweet baby brother.
And our big 8 month old...
We then let him pick where to go for dinner...Joe's Crab Shack. Matt and I hate this place, but Carson and Cade love it.
What is better than a birthday cheers with your brother? Before anyone calls CPS...it was root beer. I bet that we will have many more pictures like this with the real thing though as the years roll by..
I absolutely couldn't believe it, but Carson got on this broom, wore the hat and giddy up'd around the Joe's Crabshack patio while everyone sang happy birthday to him.

Cannon and Sloan were chatting it up and taking it all in. These two can't wait until they can play in the batting cages and squirt the big kids from the bumper boats!
Arden was a dancing queen...

I'm not sure what I was thinking doing bumper boats for this age group...the parents had to ride too with some of them, and well, the kids soaked us!
Carson was in a boat with Austin and Jeremy...his two pals from school.
